One thing to adjust to being back in Knoxville is the lack of options of things to do on cold and rainy days. I must say we were spoiled living in St. Louis the last two years with all of the fun things we had to do there on any given day. St. Louis is full of children's museums, science centers, indoor play centers, and parks. And the good thing about it was that most of it was free or inexpensive. It was a great place for families to live and we really enjoyed exploring the city. We will just have to be a little more creative and resourceful now. One of our favorite past times living in Knoxville before on rainy days was to go to the mall. The girls love getting a pretzel, throwing pennies in the fountain, riding the quarter rides, playing on the indoor play area, and just walking around looking at random stuff. So, thats what we did on this rainy day. My mom was in town visiting and we all took a trip to the mall and enjoyed the afternoon.
