Here is my little "safari" man. He liked being up in that big jeep. The girls were busy cornering the poor zoo keeper, asking a million and one questions about giraffes, so Caleb and I snuck over to play in this jeep and get some cute pics. The girls loved seeing the giraffes so up close today and watching the zoo keeper feed her leaves. Kate was cracking me up with all the questions she came up with. I think she wore the poor guy out :) And then Caleb got to experience his first Carousel ride. He starting bouncing up and down and wiggling his hands and feet as soon as I put him up on it. And I got my exercise today because I ended up pushing all three of them in the double jogging stroller when they were too worn out to walk anymore!

Fun day at the Zoo
Kate and Anna have been wanting to go to the zoo again, and today was perfect outside. We packed a lunch and made a whole afternoon of it.

"More Please"
Caleb has learned how to say "More Please" in sign language and he says it NON-STOP! I am not exaggerating...I can not fill this child up! I have had friends tell me that their little baby boys ate so much more than their little girls, and now I am beginning to know what they were talking about.. He still nurses full feedings several times a day , and would really do it as much as I would let him, and then he eats as much as I will feed him at all three meals. Tonight, I fed him his usual two cubes of homemade baby food (which was all I ever gave the girls at this age-8 months..) but what he really wanted was what we were having. So, after hearing him say "Ma, ma, ma, ma (this is how he says, "more") and then put his chubby little fingers together signing "more please" over and over I said "what the heck"..So, tonight, in addition to his "baby food" he tried salmon, roasted potatoes, homemade bread, pears, and he even tried a nibble of the corn on the cob (and got mad when I took it away!) I have a feeling our grocery bill will be increasing in the next several months!
He would not look up to take this picture because he was too excited about sucking up the corn juices!

Lets go fly a kite....
It was so sweet watching the girls fly a kite for the very first time. They had so much fun! Anna was so giddy with excitement that she just kept bouncing up and down and giggling while her daddy was getting her kite ready, and then she just kept giggling and saying "Look mama, I'm doing it...all by myself"and Kate flew around the big field wild and carefree with her pretty hair blowing in the wind, determined to get her kite to be "the highest kite ever". Caleb enjoyed sitting in the grass watching his sisters run circles around him squealing and laughing as they ran by and he would stare up at the big kites whizzing over his head. It really was a great night having daddy back home from Cambodia and enjoying being back together as a family.

Easter Egg Hunt at the park
What is more fun than using your easter basket to hunt eggs?
Just look at these faces. They act like it is sooooo painful and such an inconvenience to stop for a picture. Here we were on a beautiful day with the perfect little bridge to get a picture on and this is the best I got of these two rascals together, and I think I took about ten. Oh, and if you were out there and happened to be watching me take their picture today, I promise I did not just escape from the mental hospital. But you'd think me hopping up and down and yelling like a goof ball would have at least got one good smile!
