The day was full of fun adventures. Kate found a lizard all by herself in the stream, and we also spotted a few big fat centipedes along the way. The girls had fun filling their little ziplock bags with "treasures" they found on the hike; pretty rocks, nuts, and leaves that have already started to change into the colors of fall. We all enjoyed a picnic lunch by the falls before starting the trek back.
