The girl's birthdays are just 6 days apart, so we celebrated them together with a fun pizza party at Des Peres Park. This worked out great because their friends are in the same families. (Three families that we hang out with all have kids around 2 and 4 like ours). Des Peres Park is our favorite park in St. Louis, only a few miles from home and it has two fun playgrounds, a duck pond, water sprinklers, and lots and lots of room to run around. Reaching almost 100 degrees yesterday didn't stop us from having a fun time. We were lucky enough to snag the covered pavilion that has built in fans and the kiddos all wore bathing suits for lots of water play, and we all enjoyed a cold ice-cream cake to keep us cool!
