Our little girl has been growing up so fast lately. Jeremy and I are amazed at how much more "grown up" Kate has been lately. She surprises us every day with a new grown up phrase she will say or something new she has learned how to do. She is also becoming very competitive! When she found out her friend McKenna could buckle her car seat straps all by herself she would not stop trying until she could do it. And now she has been working so hard at the playground to get across the monkey bars all by herself because some of her other friends can do it. We pray that as she grows God will give her a heart to follow the right leaders. When she wants to do something she works really hard. Lately she has been so motivated during lesson time to learn how to write. Here is a picture of her focusing really hard. I think she laid like this for 30 minutes erasing and rewriting her letters until she got it right. This is a big mile stone for us, because for anyone who really knows Kate, she has always had the shortest attention span. I love watching her learn new things and seeing her determination. What a blessing to be able to enjoy these little things every day!!
