I will never forget the day I became a mother. To look into the tiny face of a child that God knitted together from cells that are too small for the human eye to even see is nothing short of a miracle. On this Mother's Day I am just completely overwhelmed with God's goodness and His provision for me as I reflect back over the last 6 years and the birth of each of my three precious, precious children. I truly could not ask for more in life. I have wanted to be a mommy since I was a very little girl and nurtured my first baby doll. I truly treasure each and every moment that God has given me with these little lives that He has entrusted me with. I stand amazed at His greatness when I look into the faces of my babies every day...
A Mother's Prayer
Lord, give me strength for each new day
To lead your children in Your way
Oh, give me wisdom Lord, and grace
To show my children your precious face!
And help me Lord to teach them too
The things of Christ so rich and true
Please let them see in me dear Lord
Your holiness in my life and words
Their tender hearts that trust me so
And always watch the way I go
Help me keep my thoughts and actions pure
That they would always know for sure
It is You who leads me all the way.
